“As global investor confidence returns to the UK office market, we see a significant opportunity to enhance our strategic advisory capability in the region,” said Amanda Stanaway, Global Head of User Strategy at ERA-co. “Stav brings deep sector expertise and a rigorous, insight-led approach that will strengthen our support for leading global developers and occupiers, particularly across workplace and education sectors. Her appointment reinforces our commitment to delivering impactful user strategy at every scale.” Stav brings nearly a decade of experience spanning architecture, workplace strategy and experience-led design. With a strong track record across the technology, science and workplace sectors, she combines spatial thinking with strategic insight to help organisations navigate change and shape environments that are resilient, future-focused and aligned with business ambition.
On joining ERA-co, Stav said: “ERA-co drew me in with its unwavering commitment to championing the end user – a belief that begins with real curiosity, guided by thoughtful questions that cut through complexity and uncover clarity. As market leaders, they bring a rare and compelling perspective; where placemaking meets brand, data, master-planning and user strategy. What sets them apart is not only the strength in each discipline, but the way they are seamlessly woven together into a single, integrated lens; bridging vision and viability, emotion and evidence.”
Stav will play a key role within ERA-co’s User Strategy Studio, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver research-led, human-centred strategies that translate complex stakeholder perspectives into clear and actionable frameworks. Her work integrates data-driven insight, emerging models of work and evolving user expectations into practical outcomes that inform decision-making and investment from the earliest stages of a project.
Stav joins from Gensler in London, where she worked across a diverse portfolio of projects in the UK and European markets, further strengthening ERA-co’s ability to support leading global developers and occupiers in the region.
Reflecting on her appointment, Stav said: “Organisations today are navigating rapid change in how people work, collaborate and connect. Effective strategy must be both visionary and grounded, informed by research, responsive to context and focused on measurable impact. I am excited to join ERA-co and contribute to shaping environments that enable people and organisations to thrive.”
